Paycom Employees Give $20,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs

OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 8, 2021) – Paycom Software, Inc., (NYSE:PAYC), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, presented a $20,000 check to Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County (BGCOKC). The funds will help expand the partnership between Boys & Girls Clubs and Oklahoma City Public Schools, allowing them to serve an additional 2,500 students.

“Partnerships with community-minded organizations like Paycom allow us to further our mission of serving the youth who need us most,” said Teena Belcik, Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County president and CEO. “Thousands of additional kids will now have access to evidenced-based programming, academic enrichment, sports, activities and mentoring at a time when they need the Club more than ever thanks to this donation.”

Since opening in 1995, Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County has grown from one Club to twelve, with 5,000 total members serving 900 youth daily. The Club’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

“Our employees are donating to an amazing organization with a large impact in our community,” said AJ Griffin, Paycom’s director of government and community affairs. “Boys & Girls Clubs has continued to provide a safe place for youth even through the challenges of a pandemic, and we are so proud our gift can help expand their reach.”

This donation comes as part of Paycom’s ongoing giving campaign, in which employees have the opportunity to donate to a variety of local and national causes. Additional ways they give back include volunteer events and service initiatives that strengthen families and communities.

Boys & Girls Clubs offers high-quality youth development programming for just $5 per school year, so that cost is not an additional burden to families. The club is a key contributor to student success, with 100% of teen club members expected to graduate from high school and 88% expected to complete some level of post-secondary education. Over 50% of the club’s alumni said Boys & Girls Clubs saved their life.
